Renaissance Felt Banner

Hi everyone!

I made this banner for my grand niece who turns four next weekend. They are having a renaissance type party with knights and princesses so I thought I'd make a felt banner instead of just paper.

The crown is from Once Upon a Princess and was cut at 7" on brushed gold paper by Stampin Up.

The letters are Storybook cut at 2.90" on metallic paper. I decided to use Quick Dry Adhesive and I think it will hold ok. Gold Stickles on the crown and around the edges is the finishing touch.

Fall Banner

Hi friends!
It's a rainy rainy rainy rainy rainy day here in Miami.  In fact...discovered a leaky roof in my bedroom last night.  Unfortunately, the water is landing right on top of my bed.  Not a happy girl.  Well...we will pray for brighter days and for the roof to hold up.

I made a banner to hang in the office.  I have to admit that I had to do some engineering corrections to it because  I had tied it together in the middle, but it was not working out when hanging.  To fix that problem, I used the acorns and maple leaves to hold the panels together.  Putting it away is going to be a challenge, but it's small and I'm sure we'll find a good place for it.

I mostly used Stampin' Up and Papertrey Ink paper.  The designer paper in green gingham is My Mind's Eye and the letters are Heidi Grace Designs.  The flip side of that paper is Halloween themed, but I loved the stripes so I went with it.  The little cinnamon color ribbon (believe it or not) is left over from my wedding NINE YEARS AGO.  Wow...I can't believe I still had some.  Actually, I can totally believe it.

Anyhow, I used Create a Critter and Storybook for this little banner.  I sure hope you like it.

I used Stampin Up Pastels to add some depth to the acorns and Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder

My colored pencils did wonders to these leaves. I also used the Stampin Up pastels to add some color
 and so they would look less flat.

That acorn on top is holding both panels together.  
I also used Dimensionals to pop the letters up.

Birthday Girl

Hi everyone! Happy Friday!

I made this card for someone special.  The sentiment is from Storybook.  I cut it at 2.75".  I had a tough time with the cuts, but it finally worked.  I actually wanted to use my Pixie to add some stitching, but I'm having a hard time making the thread not break.  I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong...any suggestions???

I used Turquoise stickles because you know I MUST have some bling.  The yellow paper has been embossed with the swirls folder on the Cuttlebug.  The ribbon is from the dollar bin at Michael's.  The patterned paper is from DCWV.  All of the solid paper is Stampin Up.  The base is crumb cake, the blue is Not Quite Navy and the yellow is....ummm.....So Saffron. I LOVE Stampin Up.

I sure hope she likes it!

Picture Frame for Cassie

My kids are going to Grandma's tonight.  Cassie always gets "worried" when she's not with me.  Bryan couldn't care any less.  He loves going to Abuela's house.  Well, she asked me (with tears in her eyes) to please take a picture together so that she wouldn't be worried while at Grandma's house.  I took photos from her birthday and created a frame using the storybook cartridge.  The frame was made at 4.94 on the gypsy.  I used turquoise stickles for the accents.   The paper is Stampin Up. One is Not Quite Navy and the other is...(i'll have to get back to you).  On the Family Time Frame I used SU gold cardstock, which I LOVE!!  These were fun to make and only took a few minutes.
