Welcome Little One

Hi friends,

I have been dying to use the Baby Onesie die by PaperTrey Ink, but I had not had the chance...plus I wasn't sure how to use it.  I came Nicol Magourik's version.  Hers is beautiful. Mine isn't as elaborate, but I think it's cute.  I finished it with the same pattern in the back, so that you could not see the shorter cardstock on the back. I just didn't like the way that looked.  The inside is Sweet Blush by PTI.  The sentiment was stamped using SU Chocolate Chip on SU Very Vanilla paper.  I used Cotton Candy Stickles and a little bow.

I sure hope the mommy to be likes this card.  I think it's precious.

Die Cuttin Divas Challenge

Hi Friends,

I don't normally enter challenges, but that is one of the things I wanted to change this year...now that we're almost half over it...it's a great time to start, right?

I came across a challenge on Die Cuttin Divas and I thought I'd enter...but then I was not able to die cut anything because we have been moving things at home and my Cricut is temporarily unavailable.  I just made the project and won't be entering it after all.  The challenge is to use the colors, red, orange and yellow inspired by the Summer!
UPDATE -I ENTERED.  The die cut is the scalloped circle, by the way. I have them in several sizes that came with my Cuttlebug.  This is the largest at 1.75 or 2".

I created this Apron gift card holder. I used Stampin Up colors.  The stamps sets are: It's the Tought (Flower vase) and So Happy For You (sentiment and bee).  My SU demonstrator and FRIEND, Norma sent it to me.  I am so glad I got to use it. I used my colored pencils to color in the flower vase.  I have copics but am not too good at it yet..plus I only have 8 colors.

I hope you like!

Wedding Favors

Hi friends,

Our friends, Sharon & Rich, were married last night.  It was a great party!

Sharon had asked for some help with the wedding, so I was happy to oblige.  We ordered some beautiful Murano Wine Stoppers and charms from Fashion Craft.  The charms came in sets of four, but I wanted to display them in a nicer manner, so I came up with a little tent card.  I used Georgia Pacific regular cardstock for the base and Tempting Turquoise from Stampin Up for the layer.  I put it through a hearts embossing folder using my Cuttlebug and pierced holes with my Crop a Dile.  We had to use two types of ribbon, but they came out very cute.

Still here

Hi friends.

I'm still around.  I have been without a computer for a little while and have been making projects and forgetting to photograph them.  I promise to get myself together soon to share some cute things I've been working on.
